We’ll help you find your best option

Some fortunate women are happy with the breasts nature gave them, while others are not so lucky. Many small-breasted women long for plumper, fuller breasts to balance their proportions and enhance their feminine appeal. Even women who have been blessed by nature with full, beautiful breasts may lose volume over time to pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight loss, or the process of aging.

Fortunately, we live in the 21st Century, and women no longer have to settle for what nature has given them or time has taken away. Breast implant surgery, the most popular cosmetic surgery in the USA, can give small-breasted women the feminine curves they have always wanted, and restore plumpness and volume to breasts that have drooped, sagged, or appear deflated after weight loss, breastfeeding, or as a result of the pull of gravity and loss of skin elasticity.

The most important decision you will make in breast implant surgery is choosing the surgeon who will perform your procedure. Dr. Alexander Sinclair is a board certified plastic surgeon with more than 30 years of experience serving the greater Los Angeles area. He has many satisfied patients who are delighted with their new breasts after surgery. When you come to Sinclair Plastic Surgery for breast implants, you can expect surgical excellence, the highest standard of patient care, and a warm, comfortable environment for your treatment experience.

Breast Implant Options

Performing breast implant surgery is not a “cookie-cutter” process. Dr. Sinclair carefully considers each patient’s unique anatomy and treatment goals to custom-tailor a breast implant procedure designed to achieve the most attractive, pleasing results. There are several important choices to make in each breast implant surgery.

Choices to consider include:

  • Saline Implants
  • Silicone gel Implants
  • Gummy bear Implants

Saline implants

These implants are filled with a sterile saline solution which is easily absorbed into the body in case of a leak. Saline implants are FDA approved for women ages 18 and older and tried and true for uniform shape, firmness, and feel.

Silicone gel implants

Silicone gel-filled implants are FDA approved for women ages 22 and older. They have a somewhat more natural feel than saline implants. These implants are designed to be extremely durable, but women with older implants may need to have leaking implants replaced, or seek to restore a more natural appearance to the breasts.

Gummy bear implants

These newer implants are form-stable and retain their shape even when there is a break in the shell. They are firmer than traditional implants and shaped, rather than round, with more projection at the bottom and tapering at the top. Placement may require a longer incision than with traditional implants.

Other important aspects of breast implant surgery include the size of the implants, whether they are placed under or over the pectoral muscle, and placement of the incisions. Dr. Sinclair has successfully performed thousands of breast implants and aesthetic plastic surgery procedures. At Sinclair Plastic Surgery, you can expect surgical excellence in an individualized breast implant procedure designed to achieve optimal results, specifically for you.

Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update

Updated - June 26th 2020

The COVID-19 epidemic has created unprecedented circumstances for our community. Our practice has been paying close attention to the guidelines put in place by the government and

With this in mind, we are offering virtual consultations to patients via face time, however, face-to-face in-office consultation are still available. We are still seeing post-operative patients and patients requiring ongoing treatments. To schedule, a virtual consultation or in-office consultation call our office.

Please know that we are constantly updating our services and staffing according to the local and national recommendations and doing our part to make sure that you are protected

  • We continue to exercise all the latest recommendations that are handed down by the CDC. Our preventative measures include:
  • Fully training all staff members to understand the disease process and its modes of transmission.
  • Appointments will be staggered to avoid congestion in the waiting room.
  • Checking temperatures of every patient that comes into the office.
  • Asking all staff, vendors and ancillary personnel to refrain from coming to the office if they have any signs or symptoms of a cold or an upper respiratory tract infection.
  • Asking every patient to refrain from coming to the office if they have any symptoms and inquiring about any pertinent travel history.
  • Hand-washing, as this continues to be the most important mode of prevention.
  • Although it is something that we have always constantly done, we are now doing so with heightened vigilance and attention.
  • Constantly sanitizing all surfaces (which we have always done as an accredited facility).

However, we have now increased this routine and are wiping down all surfaces, desks, door handles, keyboards and restroom facilities multiple times each day.

Although Covid-19 is a serious issue, we strongly believe that it will pass and hopefully make our infrastructure and our ability to deal with pandemics in this country even better than it currently is. We are closely monitoring this situation on a real-time basis and will update our practice’s guidelines as needed to protect our patients.
