We all desire to look our best. As the visible signs of aging begin to take hold, that can often add years to our appearance. Fine lines and wrinkles, sun spots, age spots, acne scars, uneven texture, and loss of skin tone can all have a negative effect on how you see yourself. Fractora can help you rejuvenate your complexion and find that sought-after glow.

Sinclair Plastic Surgery is thrilled to offer treatment with the innovative Fractora laser in our Beverly Hills facility. Its powerful energy is designed to even the skin’s tone and texture and improve the firmness and elasticity of your skin simultaneously.

What is Fractora?

The Fractora laser is the most powerful of the fractional lasers, using powerful RF technology to resurface the skin, evening its texture and restoring fullness and an even skin tone. This state-of-the-art technology works by stimulating the deep layers of your skin to increase collagen and elastin production.

While Fractora restores your skin’s texture, it refines fine line and wrinkles, and addresses issues of pigmentation. This minimally-invasive procedure achieves all of this without the painful downtime and recovery associated with more invasive procedures.

How Does Fractora Work?

Treatment is delivered through the Fractora handle, a device equipped with a series of micro-pins through which RF energy is delivered deep into the skin’s layers. This gentle, controlled energy penetrates the dermis to stimulate collagen and elastin production. Small wounds are created by the handle’s micro-pins, allowing your body to create fresh, new cells for a revitalized complexion.

What Can I Expect During Treatment with Fractora?

During treatment with Fractora, Dr. Sinclair will apply either a topical or local anesthetic. Dr. Sinclair will use the Fractora handle with artistry and care, stretching the skin to apply the Fractora handle with precision. This will ensure you receive uniform results throughout the treatment area.

What is the Recovery Like Following Treatment?

You may experience mild swelling, redness, and peeling of the skin following treatment with Fractora. These side effects are to be expected and should dissipate within a few days. Dr. Sinclair may prescribe pain medication to allow you to be comfortable while your skin completes the revitalization process. Since there is minimal downtime associated with Fractora skin resurfacing, you should be able to resume your daily routine within a few days.

What Kind of Results Will I See?

You will notice improved texture and tone of your skin, as well as a softening in fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, and pigmentation issues. Results will be visible within a few days following treatment but will continue to improve in the weeks and months following your procedure. Your skin will have increased tightness, a revived fullness, and a restoration of that coveted glow.

Am I a Candidate for Treatment with Fractora?

If you are interested in the skin tightening and complexion reviving benefits offered by the Fractora laser but do not want to endure the pain and downtime of invasive surgery, Fractora could be a wonderful option for skin rejuvenation. Dr. Sinclair is among the finest board-certified plastic surgeons in the Beverly Hills area, and will advise you if he believes that Fractora can help you achieve the results you are dreaming of.

The COVID-19 epidemic has created unprecedented circumstances for our community. Our practice has been paying close attention to the guidelines put in place by the government and

With this in mind, we are offering virtual consultations to patients via face time, however, face-to-face in-office consultation are still available. We are still seeing post-operative patients and patients requiring ongoing treatments. To schedule, a virtual consultation or in-office consultation call our office.

Please know that we are constantly updating our services and staffing according to the local and national recommendations and doing our part to make sure that you are protected

  • We continue to exercise all the latest recommendations that are handed down by the CDC. Our preventative measures include:
  • Fully training all staff members to understand the disease process and its modes of transmission.
  • Appointments will be staggered to avoid congestion in the waiting room.
  • Checking temperatures of every patient that comes into the office.
  • Asking all staff, vendors and ancillary personnel to refrain from coming to the office if they have any signs or symptoms of a cold or an upper respiratory tract infection.
  • Asking every patient to refrain from coming to the office if they have any symptoms and inquiring about any pertinent travel history.
  • Hand-washing, as this continues to be the most important mode of prevention.
  • Although it is something that we have always constantly done, we are now doing so with heightened vigilance and attention.
  • Constantly sanitizing all surfaces (which we have always done as an accredited facility).

However, we have now increased this routine and are wiping down all surfaces, desks, door handles, keyboards and restroom facilities multiple times each day.

Although Covid-19 is a serious issue, we strongly believe that it will pass and hopefully make our infrastructure and our ability to deal with pandemics in this country even better than it currently is. We are closely monitoring this situation on a real-time basis and will update our practice’s guidelines as needed to protect our patients.
