Recent notifications from the Department of Justice and the White House prohibit transgender surgical and invasive medical care for transgender adolescents. We at Sinclair Plastic Surgery have not made it a practice to care for adolescents. The current operational, legal, and financial risks mandate that we continue to comply with our previous approach and follow their directives so that we can continue to care for our adult population.
